Already feeling buried in holiday stress? Who's going skiing to avoid family and friends?

SPOKANE, Wash. -

If the coming holidays stress you out, here's some advice to help you through the extended weekend.

If you're hosting family or friends don't worry about having everything spick and span. Instead of focusing on cleaning, focus on how you'll interact with your guests.

Also, no matter how selfish it may seem, make time and space for you. A little time alone can make those overwhelming moments easier to endure.

It's very temping to over indulge in food, drink and sugar, especially on Thanksgiving. Experts say moderation is key. Avoid feeling bloated and uncomfortable by planning a lighter breakfast if you're having a large and early dinner and don't forget to eat before hitting the bottle to make uncle Bob a little easier to talk with.
