Ubisoft announced earlier this month that it would mark the holiday season by offering two of its older, but well-loved games, for free. The deals event started with World in Conflict slated to be free until December 11, with Assassin's Creed: Black Flag to follow; available from December 11-18.
On Tuesday, it was revealed that Ubisoft would not only be extending the free offerings, but as a special holiday treat, is now offering Watch_Dogs as well.
All three games are completely free through its Uplay service until Saturday December 23 at 2 am. Simply log into Uplay, navigate to the “Happy Playdays” page and add the titles you want to your library. The games are permanently yours as long as you get them before the offer expires.
Ubisoft has made a habit of offering its older titles for free from time to time, and many gamers were kicking themselves for missing out on the last free offering of Watch_Dogs back in November.
Watch_Dogs is arguably the biggest title of the three because it is the newest, but World in Conflict was critically beloved at launch and remains a title worth owning. Assassin's Creed: Black Flag is one of the more solid games in the Assassin's Creed franchise despite being four years old.
Now isn’t a bad time to look at the Watch_Dogs sequel either, with Ubisoft heavily discounting the title along with its free offerings. Currently Watch_Dogs 2 Standard Edition is on sale for $20, Deluxe for $25 and Gold for $40.
