HOPE, Idaho — Even though the Trestle Creek Complex Fire has now burned 3,425 acres (5.35 square miles) and is only 37 percent contained, homeowners can now return to several areas.
Bonner County Sheriff’s Office said people living on Trestle Creek Rd., Trestle Creek Ln. and Star Ridge down to Hwy 200 can return home and they are under Level 2 evacuations. This means be ready to leave at a moment’s notice.
However, some roads are still closed and only homeowners are allowed access to these areas.
Idaho Panhandle National Forest said the fire has not reached private property.
