SPOKANE, Wash. — One of Gonzaga Bulldogs' biggest stars was honored on the national stage once again on the national stage.
Drew Timme was named to the Associated Press All-American Second Team for the third consecutive year on Tuesday.Â

Drew Timme was named to the Associated Press All-American Second Team for the third consecutive year on Tuesday.Â
The co-WCC Player of the Year recently became the Zags' all-time leading scorer in the WCC Championship game against Saint Mary's.
Entering what is his final NCAA tournament run with the Zags, Timme has an astounding record of 119-12 since joining GU in the 2019-20 season.
Joining Timme on the AP All-American Second team is UCLA's Jaime Jaquez Jr., Arizona's Azuolas Tubelis, Penn State's Jalen Pickett and Kentucky's Oscar Tshiebwe.Â
Players who made the All-American First Team include Purdue's Zach Edey, Indiana's Trayce Jackson-Davis, Houston's Marcus Sasser, Alabama's Brandon Miller and Kansas' Jalen Wilson.
Timme and the Zags begin its NCAA tournament journey on Friday against Grand Canyon University. Tipoff between the No. 3 Zags and the No. 14 Antelopes is at 4:35 p.m. PST.
