The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission has released a list of more than 100 state parks that will open for day use starting May 5.
The parks are set to reopen as Phase 1 of Governor Jay Inslee’s reopening plan begins. The list includes popular hiking and boating destinations across the state.

State Parks will delay the opening of some areas beyond May 5, including all ocean beach parks and those along the Columbia River Gorge. Authorities are working with local communities, natural resource agencies and partners in Oregon to determine the appropriate timing for reopening those areas.
Beaches and camping have been identified in Phase 2 of Inslee’s reopening plan.
