Coeur d'Alene police toy drive

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - The Coeur d’Alene Police Officer Association is once again holding their annual toy drive to
collect toys for area Children’s Hospitals.

The officers want people to know that gifts can make a big difference to the children being treated at various hospitals such as Kootenai Health and Sacred Heart Children's Hospital.  Being in the hospital can be a scary time for children and the officers hope the gifts can ease the children's fear and anxiety.

The association's goal this year is to fill a 12 foot x 8 foot trailer with toys to deliver to the hospitals.

Officers will be collecting toys on Saturday, December 16th from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at
Hayden Walmart.

People may also drop off a new toy at the lobby of the Police Department.
