Additional crews called in for snow removal

SPOKANE, Wash. - City crews have been working all day Thursday sanding, deicing, and plowing our arterials.

According to the City, the major arterials are wet and slushy and in good shape for the evening commute. The City says they've received reports of the snow turning to rain on the far South Side.

Additional crews have been called in for the night shift, and will work their way through primary and secondary arterials again.

On Friday, crews will work in residential areas. They will continue to work in residential areas, as needed, over the weekend.
