News you should know on your Thursday morning
SPOKANE, Wash. — Happy Thursday morning! It will be a bright and sunny day with high temperatures in the mid-80s. Already looking ahead to the weekend? 4 News Now Chief Meteorologist Kris Crocker says we can expect more warm and dry weather.
Here’s what else you should know as you start your day:
Cheney evacuations lowered
Four fires burning in Cheney caused mandatory evacuations for a few homes last night. Those have now been lowered to Level 2 as crews seem to gain more confidence the fires are no longer spreading. In total, about 160 acres are burning. There are about 100 firefighters working to fight the flames. Read the latest HERE.
