New Italian restaurant ‘Tavolàta’ opens in downtown Spokane
SPOKANE, Wash. — Heads up, pasta lovers!
A new Italian restaurant has opened in downtown Spokane. Seattle-based Tavolàta has opened their fourth location in a 5,000-square foot space at the corner of Wall Street and Spokane Falls Boulevard.
The space has a high ceiling, light gray walls, a smattering of exposed brick and lots of natural light. It features an open kitchen that shares space with the main dining room, full of blond wood banquets and tables.
“We are absolutely thrilled to open the doors,” said Ethan Stowell, Founder and CEO of Ethan Stowell Restaurants. “We’re looking forward to meeting the community and being part of the vibrant culinary scene in Spokane.”
Tavolàta offers a variety of Italian dishes, like gnocchi alla Romana, bruschetta with smoked salmon and pickled onion, and olive oil cake with creme fraiche and strawberries. They have even released the recipe for their rigatoni with Italian sausage tomato sauce and parmigiano-reggiano.
The restaurant will be open daily from 4-9 p.m. and until 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
