New and old traditions make up Hoopfest 2018
SPOKANE, Wash. — Hoopfest is one of Spokane’s greatest traditions, but every year there are always a few new additions.
Thousands of people, hoops, and basketballs will flood downtown Spokane this weekend.
Some knees will be scraped up, and bragging rights will be won, but his year, you can do all of that while enjoying some world class ice cream.
Sweet Peaks on Main Street is gearing up for what is sure to be their biggest weekend yet.
And while the brand new Nike Factory store is just down the street from the Bennett Block, you don’t have to leave Center Court for your 2018 Hoopfest merchandise.
If you’re looking to beat the crowds, Friday is the day to get into the Hoopfest Store.
You can also enjoy lunch at one of the many food trucks that will be on the new-look Howard St. Bridge, where food truck operators will be working all weekend to feed you.
