NCAA: No. 2 Michigan easily dispatches No. 10 Florida

No. 2 Michigan moved easily past No. 10 Florida 64-49 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, advancing to the Sweet 16.

Jordan Poole led the Wolverines with 19 points and Jalen Hudson led the Gators with 11 points.

The Gators, who beat No. 7 Nevada 70-61 on Thursday in the first round of the West Region, played in their third straight NCAA Tournament.

Prior to that, Florida had a four-year streak from 2011 to 2014 that saw them reach the Elite Eight three straight times capped by a Final Four berth in 2014.

Michigan, which lost to Villanova in the 2018 title game, now has an overall record of 30-6.
