National Guard pitches in to help Extreme Team
POST FALLS, Idaho — Earlier this week, the Extreme Team renovated a baseball field in Pullman and now they’re racing the clock to get renovations done on two Post Falls ball fields.
On Wednesday the team got a big helping hand from the National Guard, which sent soldiers out to help work on the bleachers right off the diamond, making it a nicer place for friends and family to come watch the kids play baseball.
Thursday is the big reveal and the team still has a lot of raking and shoveling to do, the bases need to be set and the base lines need to be chalked. Dirt also needs to be spread in the infield, the dugouts still need some touching up, work needs to be done on the chain link fences and backstops still need to be put in place.
But the Extreme Team is confident it can get all of that done in time for the big reveal Thursday evening.
