Mt. Spokane tops North Central amidst nasty conditions

Through rain, hail, and sloppy conditions, Mt. Spokane beat North Central 7-3 in a GSL game at Gonzaga Prep on Friday.

Cole Heckel got the win on the mound for the Wildcats (9-2), while Chris Downey took the loss for the Indians.

North Central was credited with a win moments before the game as Lewis & Clark forfeited their contest with the Indians.

Mt. Spokane was scheduled to play a second game against University at 4 p.m. on Friday, but that was cancelled due to unplayable field conditions.  The Wildcats and Titans will play Monday at 4 p.m. at University High School.
