Moscow Artwalk is set to debut at its new location ‘The Box Gallery’
MOSCOW, Idaho — The City of Moscow and Moscow Arts Commission is welcoming the Moscow Artwalk to a new location.
Members of the Moscow community are invited to the event at the grand opening of “The Box Gallery,” an art exhibit that was recently added to the Arts Department office at City Hall. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony to introduce the new building to the community at 4 p.m. outside the Arts Department office, located on the first floor of City Hall.
The exhibit will consist of poets from current Moscow Poet Laureate, Susan Hodgin, Artwalk poster artist Kevin Rhodes and much more.
The Artwalk had its inaugural event in 2004 and has served as a way to practice and celebrate art in Moscow.
All are welcome to the Artwalk on Thursday, June 17 at 4 p.m. at no cost.
For other forms of art that visitors would like to see, the Third Street Gallery exhibition “Silver and Gold” and the culinary arts at Sisters Cookie’s, Love’s Kombucha and Kamiak Coffee from Cafe Artista are available to the public as well.
Other exhibits beyond City Hall include bicycle art at Paradise Creek Bicycles, an exhibit at the Disability Action Center NW and much more. The whole list of exhibits can be found HERE.
