Mobius Discovery Center reopens with safety protocols in place
SPOKANE, Wash. — Mobius Discovery Center was closed up for more than a year during the pandemic, but now, the center is back open with new changes for families.
Mobius used to operate out of two locations until COVID shut them down. Now, they’ve consolidated and have merged the best of both locations into one. The Children’s Museum, which was located in River Park Square, isn’t open anymore, but all the exhibits and elements from the museum are still there for kids to enjoy at their singular location inside the Washington Water Power building.
Mobius is a place where children can go to spark curiosity and learn while playing. They have all kinds of interactive exhibits to keep kids entertained while also helping them learn early on. From science, to art and skill-building activities, children learn by doing, and parents can be a part of the learning with them. It’s a place for children of all ages.
For the month of April, they will have shortened business hours and will only be open Thursday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Center also has memberships for families.
If you still aren’t ready to bring your kids inside the museum, Mobius has take-home discovery activities you can bring home for your kids. You can learn more about all Mobius offers here.
