Missing Spokane man found dead
SPOKANE, Wash. —
UPDATE (8:47 a.m. 12/20/17)
Deputies found Michael Long’s dead body Tuesday evening, several miles from the residence he was last seen at on Morris Road.
While it appears Long succumbed to the cold and wet weather, the Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office will soon release the official cause and manner of death.

Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Deputies are searching for a missing man. 28-year-old Michael D. Long was last seen near the 22000 block of E. Morris Rd. around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Michael Long is not familiar with the area and according to his family, he has been acting strange and paranoid lately. He reportedly walked away from his residence early Tuesday morning, leaving behind his cell phone, wallet and other items he would normally take with him.
It is unknown if he is dressed for the weather. Due to his abnormal behavior, being unfamiliar with the area, and not having any friends in the area, his family is extremely concerned for his welfare.
Deputies have been searching the area but have not yet located Michael.
Michael is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, approximately 150 pounds, with brown short hair and blue eyes.
