Missing Harrison teen found in Spokane, reunited with family

A missing 15-year-old Harrison girl was located in Spokane, according to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office.

Lacey L. Jeffries was found early Tuesday morning by the Spokane Police Department.

Jeffries went missing in St. Maries on the evening of October 17. She had been at church with her mother, when she said she was going to meet up with her friend Brad, who was identified as 20-year-old Bradley D. Walters. Several reports put her in the company with Walters.

The two allegedly got a ride to Worley on October 19, where they are suspected to have reached a CityLink bus and ridden to Coeur d’Alene. The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office also received a tip that they took a taxi to Spokane to the Union Gospel Mission on East Illinois Street, though neither of them checked in.

On Monday, the Benewah County Sheriff’s Office obtained a nationwide extraditable warrant for Walters’ arrest. He is accused of kidnapping with the intent to commit a sexual act.

It is unclear where SPD found Jeffries, but she has since been reunited with her family.
