Miners find one of the biggest diamonds in the world
LONDON — One of the biggest diamonds in history has been discovered in the mountainous kingdom of Lesotho in southern Africa.
According to Bloomberg News, the stone is 910 carats and about the size of two golf balls.
The diamond is the fifth biggest ever found and was discovered by Gem Diamonds.
Gems did not say how it will sell the diamond or what it could be worth.
The company sold a 1100 carat diamond for $53 million last year.
