Mead School District to hold “Vaping Information Night” Monday for parents
MEAD, Wash. — The Mead School District is hosting a vaping information night for parents and community members Monday at Mt. Spokane High School (6015 E. Mt. Spokane Drive) beginning at 6:30 pm.
The presentation will be led by a representative of the Poison Control Center.
The FDA called teen vaping and E-cigarette use an “epidemic” in September. According report by the U.S. Surgeon General, there was a 900 percent increase in E-cigarette use among teens between 2011 and 2015. 2.1 million middle and high school students vaped regularly in 2017, according to data from the FDA.
