McMorris Rodgers holds forums, meets with constituents
SPOKANE, Wash. — Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers held a number of round tables Tuesday to discuss her efforts in this year’s congressional session and to meet with constituents.
Kxly4 caught up with her at WSU’s Spokane campus Tuesday morning, as she was discussing two add-on bills that were passed to the ABLE Act, which is a tax free savings program for disabled children.
One of them allows those who become disabled later in life to roll over their tax free 529 savings plans into an ABLE account.
The other allows someone with disabilities to get a part time job or internship without losing their disability benefits.
