SPOKANE, Wash. — The Washington State Department of Transportation announced that masks will no longer be required onboard state ferries and terminals.

The announcement comes after the federal mask mandate for air travel was lifted, with most all airlines no longer requiring masks to fly.

For Spokane, public transit buses will still have a mask mandate in place until further notice.
