Man slashed with knife by ex-girlfriend in Lincoln Park
SPOKANE, Wash. — A woman was arrested Thursday night and charged with second-degree assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly slashing her boyfriend in the hand with a knife at Lincoln Park.
Spokane Police responded to the park – located off Southeast Boulevard – on the report of a stabbing where officers met with the victim. He told police he and his ex-girlfriend were hanging out in the park and an argument ensued. The ex-girlfriend, 48-year-old Jennafer Townley, allegedly pulled out a knife and slashed him the in the hand. Townley then fled the area on foot.
Officers located Townley up the road in front of the Rockcliffe Apartments where she still had a large, fixed blade knife on her.
Townley was booked into the Spokane County Jail.
