Man killed in Sunday night shooting in East Central neighborhood
SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Police officers responded to reports of a shooting late Sunday night in Spokane’s East Central neighborhood.
According to police, the calls were reported around 10:30 p.m. Arriving officers found a man with a gunshot wound outside of a home in the area of E. 5th Ave & S. Fiske St.
The victi was taken to the hospital and later died.
Investigators do not have any suspects in custody. SPD does not believe the shooting was random, but officers are still trying to figure out how the two people knew each other. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call crime check at 509-456-2233

Officers remained on scene investigating the shooting and gathering evidence until the early hours of Monday.
