Man accused of robbing Fred Meyer identified, located by police
SPOKANE, Wash. — With the help of social media and local news outlets, Spokane Valley Police Department say the man who robbed a Fred Meyer store on Sprague Ave. the day after Christmas has been located and identified. Through multiple tips after word spread on social media, officials were able to locate him within hours.
The suspect, 27-year-old Gregory A. Gillmore, has been located in another jurisdiction for an unrelated incident. In a release, SVPD said Major Crimes Detective Mike Drapeau has requested a warrant charging the man with second degree robbery.
Gillmore is expected to return to Spokane county and face his charge.
