Man accused of lighting fire inside popular Pullman nightclub
PULLMAN, Wash. — An alleged arsonist started a fire inside the bathroom of a popular Pullman nightclub, police said.
No one was hurt during the fire at Stubblefields, which happened shortly before 1:00 a.m. Friday.
A man reportedly walked into a bathroom and discovered paper towels in the trash can were on fire. He quickly extinguished the flames and told the bouncers.
Staff used surveillance video to identify the suspect, identified as Jesus Flores German. Pullman Police responded to the nightclub and found Flores German inside.
Pullman Fire investigators responded and determined the fire was intentionally set. The suspect was arrested for first degree arson.
Pullman Radio reported about 300 people were inside Stubblefields at the time.
Flores German was booked into the Whitman County Jail and will make his first appearance on Friday.
