Local orthodontist delivers Girl Scout cookies to first responders
SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Orthodontist Bret Johnson and his office staff found a way to do two good deeds at once.
First, they supported their local Girl Scouts by buying 50 cases of Girl Scout cookies, and then gave them all away to first responders in our community.
They handed them out Friday afternoon to police officers and firefighters who had no idea they were coming.
“I love Girl Scout cookies, and I was like how can we buy as many as possible without having them go to our waist,” said Dr. Johnson. “We came up with the idea, pitched them on the internet, and then the cookies started flowing in and we decided we were going to give these all back to the community rather than keep them for ourselves.”
For reference, 50 cases of cookies is almost 500 boxes.
