Lincoln Center to return to its roots
SPOKANE, Wash. — The historic Lincoln Center in Spokane is returning to its roots.
True Hope Church purchased the art-deco building for $2.5 million dollars in March.
Ryan Oletzke, lead pastor for True Hope Church said the building’s location and its history make the Lincoln Center a good fit for the congregation.
“It’s been a church historically all the way back to the 1900’s and lots of different variations of church and leadership throughout the century and then it’s been an event center,” said Oletzke.
“The idea of it returning to that purpose was exciting for us and we thought it was a great opportunity,” he added.
Even though the building is under new ownership, the center will continue to host weddings, meetings and other special events through the end of the calendar year.
