The Sandhill Cranes have returned to the Othello, Washington area for the annual migration pit stop. Approximately 35,000 cranes pause here every spring to feed on the corn that is left by area farmers.
Once again this year, Othello is rolling out the red carpet for the cranes at the Sandhill Crane Festival. The festival starts Friday and includes a number of lectures, tours and other fun activities for birders and wildlife enthusiasts. For more information about the festival, Click Here.
