Level 2 evacuations issued for some Grant County residents
GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — Some Grant County residents need to get ready to leave their homes if danger from a wildfire increases.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office issued Level 2 evacuations for Boy Scout Camp and Westmont Acres in Soap Lake. Police are on their way to notify residents as a wildfire approaches from the north. Delta Road, Hawthorne Road, Linden Road, Cherry Road, and all nearby roads are impacted, according to Grant County.

Level 2 evacuations indicate there is a significant risk to your area. The fire (or other danger) is moving closer to you and a mandatory evacuation order may be issued at any time. Now is the time to prepare for immediate evacuation.
