Leaf pickup this Saturday and Monday in Browne’s Addition
SPOKANE, Wash. — Leaf pickup starts in Browne’s Addition this weekend.
According to the City of Spokane, vehicles must be moved in the neighborhood, between Riverside and Second Avenue/Sunset Boulevard and between Maple and Coeur d’Alene Street.
Vehicles need to be moved off of north-souths streets on Saturday Dec. 8, in those areas. They need to be moved off of east-west streets on Monday, Dec. 10.
The city said vehicles parked on the street when trucks come will be towed.
Crews start at 9 a.m. each day. Parking restrictions are needed because the narrow streets can’t accommodate the work with parked vehicles lining the streets.
