Laney Erickson scores 18 as Ferris returns to basketball
SPOKANE, Wash. — Sometimes the scoreboard really doesn’t matter. That was the case Tuesday night on the South Hill as the Ferris Saxon basketball teams returned to action for the first time after losing former Saxon, Kellen Erickson last week.
Kellen’s sister Laney scored 18 points to lead her team including 4 3-pointers. The C.V. Bears won the game, but that didn’t seem to matter on a night like this.
Both games honored Kellen and Central Valley showed great unity in joining the Ferris players before each game.
