Kootenai County Deputy hospitalized after car crash
KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho —
UPDATE: Deputy Craig Chambers has been identified as the deputy involved in the crash. He was transported to Kootenai Health for his injuries.
The second vehicle involved is believed to be driven by Matthew Z. Conway, 23, of Coeur d’Alene. Conway was also transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Idaho State Patrol will be the primary agency investigating the crash. Further details regarding the crash are unknown at this time.
A Kootenai County Deputy has been hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries after a two-car collision near W. Boekel Rd. and N. Ramsey Rd., sources tell KXLY.
One witness on scene told KXLY that the deputy had to be cut from his patrol car before he was transported to the hospital. Those details have not yet been confirmed.
