Kayakers get stuck, free themselves without injury
SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Fire Department responded to a possible water rescue on Tuesday, just north of Bowl and Pitcher.
According to Chief Brian Schaeffer, a passerby at the Rifle Club called 911 when they saw two kayakers struggling in the Spokane River.
Spokane Fire made contact with the kayakers, who were able to free themselves without any injuries.
