Junior Livestock Show continues at Spokane County Fairgrounds

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Junior Livestock Show of Spokane continues at the Spokane County Fairgrounds through Mother’s Day weekend.

The show is an opportunity for young men and women across the Inland Northwest to showcase their animals and agricultural talents.

Some have been raising and showing animals since they were children!

According to the Junior Livestock Show, the event has always been about the kids – boys and girls who are interested in agriculture, showcasing their hard work, learning lessons, and striving to be the best version of themselves.

Many who participate win scholarships to put toward college and a future in the agriculture industry.

More than 100 4-H clubs and FFA chapters, about 400 kids and 600 animals are in this year’s show.

The Junior Livestock Show has been in Spokane for 87 years and it’s also a free public event.

The last day of the show is this Saturday, May 7.
