Judge sentences prior convicted registered sex offender
SPOKANE, Wash. — A judge sentenced a convicted registered sex offender on Tuesday to the maximum sentence for the sexual assault of a child.
Johnathon Hancock was found guilty of child rape in the first degree and child molestation in the first degree for a sexual assault. According to the Spokane Police, Hancock has a prior conviction for incest and was already a registered sex offender.
Hancock was sentenced to 236 months to life and given lifetime community custody, police said in a release.
“This was a tough one, she did an outstanding job,” said the SPD Major Crimes detective on the case.
