Gonzaga guard Jalen Suggs (1) celebrates making the game winning basket against UCLA during overtime in a men's Final Four NCAA college basketball tournament semifinal game, Saturday, April 3, 2021, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Gonzaga won 93-90.

It’s a pet peeve of all Bulldogs fans.

Despite their multiple NCAA tournament appearances and 31-0 record, some people just cannot seem to properly pronounce “Gonzaga.”

ESPN college basketball analyst Jay Bilas put out a message on Monday telling people to learn it once and for all.

“It’s Gon-ZAG-uh, not Gon-ZOG-uh. They’re called the ‘Zags.’ If it were Gon-zog-uh, they’d be called the ‘Zogs,'” he said in a Twitter video. “They’ve been kicking everyone’s a** for 20 years, get it right.”

Thank you, Jay.

The Zags will compete in their second NCAA Championship game Monday night against Baylor. Tipoff is 6:20 p.m.
