It’s Miracle Treat Day! Beat the heat & help local, sick children at the same time
SPOKANE, Wash. — Is there anything better than ice cream on a hot summer day? There is! Ice cream that also helps sick children in our community!
On Thursday, July 25 Spokane-area Dairy Queens will celebrate Miracle Treat Day. For each Blizzard purchased, $1 will be donated to Children’s Miracle Network. The local branch of the non-profit provides support to patients and their families at Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital. You can find a list of participating Dairy Queen locations here. Money raised through Miracle Treat Day will help children in the Spokane community.
Blizzards are a dessert item on the Dairy Queen menu, made of vanilla soft serve and toppings of your choosing that are blended in! Flavors range from mint to s’mores, Reese’s, Sour Patch Kids and M&M’s!
If Blizzards aren’t your thing, participating Dairy Queen locations are accepting donations to the Children’s Miracle Network through early August. A $1 donation will get you $2 in coupons and a bracelet.
