ISP: Drunk driver hits ambulance south of Coeur d’Alene

UPDATE: ISP reports Matthew T. Johnson was driving his pickup southbound on US95 when he collided with a Kootenai County EMS ambulance that was northbound. The driver of the ambulance in addition to the occupants of the vehicle were treated and released at Kootenai Health.

Idaho State Police have reported that a drunk driver crashed into an ambulance that was on its way to the hospital with a patient Thursday night around 10:00 p.m.

ISP says the crash occurred south of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho on US95 at milepost 425.

No one was injured.
