Isolated thunderstorms Wednesday evening and Thursday – Kris

Isolated thunderstorms have kept us busy today in the 4 News Now First Alert Weather Center, but it will be a quiet night around Spokane. Any storms tonight will develop in north-central Washington.  That is where a RED FLAG WARNING for critical fire weather conditions will continue through noon Thursday.  There is also a chance of thunderstorms over extreme southeastern Washington and the southern Idaho Panhandle. Otherwise, expect partly cloudy skies tonight with lows in the mid-60s.  Thursday and Friday will be hot again.  Highs will reach the lower to mid-90s with isolated thunderstorms possible each day.

It’s not going to be cool, but it will be cooler for the weekend.  Highs will be more seasonable and stay in the mid-80s. The next round of hot weather kicks off on Monday, with highs getting close to 100° by the middle of next week.
