Isolated thunderstorms could develop Thursday afternoon! -Emily

SPOKANE, Wash. – For our Thursday (Earth Day!), we are looking at about a 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms across the region- particularly through Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho. If this comes to fruition, brief heavy downpours, lightning, wind gusts up to 35 MPH, and small hail is all possible after 11 AM. Other than that, we have a high of 63 degrees, with partly sunny skies and winds coming out of the NE at 5-8 MPH. We’ll dry it out for Friday with increasing cloud cover and then the rain returns for our weekend as our temps drop back into the 50’s. We are in need of rain, so while a bit dreary, this is a good forecast. Have a great day!
