Investigators trying to find owners of property stolen in Mead area
SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Regional Auto Theft Task Force Investigators are trying to identify the owners of property stolen in the Mead area over the past six or seven months.
The property was believed to be stolen from garages and vehicles in the Eaglewood and Golden Hill neighborhoods.
If you think any of the stolen items could be yours and can provide a serial number or other way to verify you are the owner, you are asked to email Investigator Deputy Randy Watts at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide the original theft report number, your name, and your phone number.
Investigators also want to remind people to record serial numbers or engrave a specific mark or number on your property. Most tools and items look the same, and in order to give property back to its rightful owner, the theft must be reported, and investigators must be able to verify that the property belongs to the person claiming it.
