Investigators looking for armed suspect in Subway robbery

Spokane Valley Major Crimes Detectives are investigating an armed robbery at Subway at 2114 N Pines Rd in Spokane Valley.

The store employee stated the white male suspect walked in, displayed a knife and demanded money. The suspect was alone and last seen leaving the location on foot.

He was described to be in his late 20s to early/mid 30s and approximately 6 feet tall. He has a thin build and was wearing what investigators say is a very distinctive coat. The coat appears to be white with large light gray squares, similar to a pixilated or digitalized pattern. It also has a hood with a small bill or brim.

Detectives were unable to obtain clear pictures of the suspect from surveillance cameras, but they hope someone might recognize the description of the suspect and provide tips leading to this identity.

The employee/victim was not injured.

If you have information regarding this robbery, recognize the description of the suspect or can help identify the suspect, please call Major Crimes Detective Nate Bohanek at 509-477-3223 and reference case number 10027939.
