Investigators identify suspect vehicle in deadly Spokane hit-and-run
SPOKANE, Wash. — A man who was walking along I-90 in Spokane Tuesday night was killed in a hit-and-run crash. Investigators are now looking for the car and driver who sped off.
The victim has been identified as 26-year-old Yannel Mignonsin.
The 26-year-old was walking in the westbound direction near the Hamilton St. exit when a car hit him, according to Washington State Patrol. Troopers say the crash happened around 10:47 p.m.
The man was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
Troopers are now looking for the driver responsible. They believe that person was driving a 2005-2010 silver or gray Volskwagen Jetta. It likely has damage to its right front, or right side mirror.

The highway was blocked for several hours while troopers investigated, but opened around 2:00 a.m.
