Inland Northwest wakes up to single digit temperatures
SPOKANE, Wash. — It was just six degrees in Spokane around 5:00 Thursday morning. The majority of ares around the Inland Northwest also saw single-digit temperatures.
But the frigid cold is just the beginning. The majority of eastern Washington and some of North Idaho is under a Winter Storm Watch as another round of snow is on its way for the weekend. This system could bring as many as nine inches of snow to places like Moses Lake, Ephrata, Grand Coulee, and Omak.
In Spokane and Coeur d’Alene, 4-6 inches are expected to fall Friday through Sunday.
