Injury crash turns fatal on I-90 near Pinehurst
PINEHURST, Idaho — Idaho State Police responded to a fatal crash on I-90 near Pinehurst on Thursday.
The crash was reported by troopers around noon as a serious injury crash. They have since confirmed a passenger died when she was ejected from the car.
According to ISP, the car was driving eastbound on I-90 near milepost 45 when it left the roadway and drove into Pine Creek.
Troopers said 54-year-old Lorrie Bell was ejected from the passenger seat and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, 61-year-old David Bell, was taken to Kootenai Health and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
