Impaired Motorcycle Rider Injured In Crash
The Washington State Patrol says the driver of a motorcycle under the influence of drugs or alcohol Sunday morning crashed and was thrown 50 feet from the motorcycle.
The crash happened at Trent and Wellesley around 2 a.m.
The WSP says 56-year-old Ricky H. Curtis was riding his motorcycle westbound on Trent when he lost control around a turn at Wellesley and left the roadway. He was ejected 50 feet from the motorcycle.
Curtis was wearing a helmet, but was injured in the crash and taken to a local hospital.
WSP says drugs or alcohol was a factor in the crash.
