Huskies Announce Three More Signings To 2018 Class

The Washington football team added three more student-athletes to its 2018 class of newcomers Wednesday, on the first day of the traditional National Letter of Intent signing period.

The UW received letters of intent from two high school seniors – defensive back Julius Irvin and defensive lineman Tuli Letuligasenoa – and also announced that quarterback Jacob Eason, who spent the last two years at Georgia, has signed a scholarship agreement and will enroll for the start of spring quarter in late March.

“We feel very positive about this group,” head coach Chris Petersen said. “Our staff did a lot of homework and research, and we believe that all of these guys are not only excellent players, but also good fits for our culture.” Last December, during the first-ever football early signing period, the UW received National Letters of Intent from 19 high school seniors.
