The big races on August 6 are the race for Spokane Mayor and Spokane City Council. The 4 News Now digital team has created a “Who’s Who” of those races.

We also want you to hear from the candidates directly. We know you don’t have a lot of time, so we gave each candidate for mayor one minute to make their pitch to you.

You also asked us what you want to know from your next mayor. This includes everything from what they want to do about the city’s homeless issue to their number one priority in office. We took those questions to all five candidates and you can read them in their own words.

4 News Now will have full team coverage on election night, bringing you results and reaction from all the races around the Inland Northwest.

You can sign up for the 4 News Now app here and get push alerts in real time on August 6. Until then, good luck researching – and, don’t forget to move that ballot from the kitchen table to the mailbox by Tuesday.
