Tenants on the basement floor of the Maplehurst Apartments reported flooding coming in through the windows… and the toilets. The TJ Meenach bridge also suffered damage and closed after debris was swept onto the roadway.
City crews worked throughout the night to get the bridge back open before Friday morning’s commute. The bridge reopened just before 5:00 a.m. Friday.
At Rogers High School, water seeped into the hallways. Janitorial crews were able to clean it up and school will be in session tomorrow.
Though lots of road work was completed Thursday night, crews will be out throughout Friday, as more rain is expected.
