Help local kids in need and enjoy live music and classic cars at the same time at Country Cruisin’
SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Get out your cowboy boots and hat and prepare for a day of dancing, fun and food all for a good cause!
Spokane Valley Lone Wolf Harley-Davidson is hosting the first-ever Country Cruisin’ Music Festival and Classic Car Show on Sunday, August 25 from 10am-4pm in their parking lot at 19011 Cataldo Avenue.
Dancers with Country Swinging will be dancing with you to the sounds of Jessee Quandt, Christy Lee, Ryan Larsen, Dallas Kay and Fiddlin’ Sarah Jean. Over 300 classic cars will be displayed near plenty of food trucks and activities for the kids.
The event is free but organizers are hoping to raise thousands for local non-profits that support children in foster care, like Embrace Washington, Safety Net and Teen and Kid Closet. Attendees are asked to bring a new, used toy still in it’s original packaging to the event, which will be given to foster children at Christmas. Raffle tickets for big prizes like a stay at the Coeur d’Alene Resort will be available for purchase. All proceeds will be given the local organizations.
